Feed Thy Neighbor uses SMS for account-related and service-related messaging, including phone verification, order updates, delivery coordination, and important notifications connected to use of the platform.
How Users Opt In
Users opt in by providing a mobile number during registration, phone verification, or a related service flow within Feed Thy Neighbor. Before SMS messages are sent, users are shown disclosure language explaining that message frequency may vary, message and data rates may apply, and that users can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Opt-In Workflow
- User enters a phone number in the Feed Thy Neighbor app or web flow.
- User is shown messaging disclosure language and links to Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- User submits the form and receives a verification or service-related SMS.
- Subsequent messages may be sent in connection with orders, deliveries, account security, and related platform actions.

- One-time password (OTP) verification codes
